Our sold-out first Spark Session lit up Mount Temple Hall with an electric atmosphere, marking an exciting beginning for the brand-new Mount Temple Arts Council.
As the first initiative of its kind in an Irish school, the Arts Council is dedicated to championing creativity within our community and beyond- and Friday night proved exactly why it matters.
The evening featured an inspiring and refreshingly honest conversation between home-grown Northside royalty, actor and screenwriter Domhnall Gleeson and beloved Dublin columnist, author and podcaster Róisin Ingle of the Irish Times.
Their discussion brought the arts to life, offering students and the wider community an intimate glimpse into creative careers; how to get paid for doing what you love, for the rest of your life.
As our first fundraising event, the night also helped raise vital support for the Arts Council’s growing programme. Every contribution goes directly toward materials, external professionals, and essential learning supports that will help us nurture the arts in Mount Temple now and long into the future.
