A group of 5th and 6th year pupils visited Cathal Brugha Barracks yesterday for their Open Day where they gained an insight into life in the Defence Forces and the wide range of career opportunities available. They saw a number of displays showcasing Defence Forces equipment and capabilities. Students had the opportunity to speak with personnel from the Infantry, Cavalry, Ordnance, Engineers, Medical, Transport, Military Police, Catering, and Signals Corps, along with representatives from the Air Corps, Navy, Reserve Defence Forces, and Recruitment Section regarding opportunities such as Cadetships, General Enlistment, Apprenticeships, and Direct Entry roles.
