Sparks Sessions: Domhnall Gleeson in conversation with Roisin Ingle in Mount Temple Hall (info & link for tickets).

November 25, 2025

A FEW TICKETS REMAINING

The Spark Sessions, is a brand-new initiative from the equally brand-new Mount Temple Arts Council. The first of its kind in Irish schools, the Arts Council exists to promote the Arts within the school community and beyond. Spark Sessions will consist of a series of talks from those working in the Arts across a range of disciplines, bringing their work to life, sparking creativity and showcasing career possibilities – how to get paid for doing what you love, for the rest of your life.

Our first Sparks session takes place this Friday evening, 28th November 2025, in Mount Temple Hall, when homegrown northside royalty, actor and screenwriter Domhnall Gleeson joins us in conversation with much-loved Dublin columnist, author and podcaster, Irish Times journalist Róisin Ingle. (Click here for tickets)

Domhnall is known for his many roles on stage and screen, but many will know him best for his roles in the Harry Potter film series (Bill Weasley), Peter Rabbit (Thomas McGregor), and the sequel trilogy, Episodes VII-IX of Star Wars (General Armitage Hux).

This event is being used as our first fundraising outing, to raise vital funds to support our school programme, currently underway and finding its feet in the school community. Monies raised will pay for necessary supplies, external professionals, and learning support in order to run and develop this programme now and into the future.

We really appreciate your support on what will be a very special evening – a rare opportunity to listen to an informal and frank discussion from two humans achieving great things in the Arts, in the familiar and intimate setting of Mount Temple Hall.

NB: The Arts Council is a strong supporter of the student voice, this event is for them and we would encourage as many students as possible to attend. A limited number of student tickets are available from Aideen O’Brien at a reduced cost. (See Google Classroom)

As always, if a student wishes to attend but may have concerns around the extra cost involved, please contact Aideen O’Brien or your Year Head in confidence – this is never an issue.
