Please note the following arrangements for 3rd year pupils.

Monday May 25th, classes finish at 1.02 (to facilitate a whole staff meeting)

Tuesday May 26th, classes finish at 1.02.

Tuesday May 26th is the final day of classes for 3rd year students. We wish all students all the best as they prepare for the Junior Cycle Exams.

Leinster Schools Track and Field Championships Day 1

On Monday three students travelled to Tullamore to take part in this years Leinster Schools Track and Field Championships.

Rachel took top billing with a silver double in both the 100m and the 200m and qualifying for the All Ireland Schools Track and Field Championships over the weekend of the 29th and 30th of May. With time of 12.26secs and 25.04secs she was only 0.12secs and 0.26secs behind the winner in both races and considering the winner of the 200m is already an Ireland International athlete this set of results is fantastic. Rachel is also only in 5th Year and has another year in the same age group.

Charlie was first up in the field and after a strong first round throw he finished up in 9th place only 3m 18cms behind 4th place. Edwin also finished in 9th place in a high standard javelin with the first three athletes all going out beyond 42ms.

Thanks to Charlie and Edwin for their time and effort in developing the profile of athletics over the past four years, its been great to have you in the squads.

What to Expect:
Today the parent/guardian who is set as the priority contact for each student will have received an email containing a link to create your account password.

We understand that transitioning to a new platform may raise questions, and we want to assure you that we are committed to making this process as seamless as possible. We believe that Tyro will greatly enhance your overall experience as parents, providing you with the tools you need to actively participate in your child’s education journey.

TY Japanese restaurant trip (by Ms O’Loughlin).

PExpo 2026

Once again Mount Temple travelled to the Sports Ireland Campus, National Indoor Arena to take part in the annual PExpo competition. Now in its 12th year the competition is similar to the Science Expo in January except that projects are based on sporting and physical education categories. This year we are delighted to announce that We were crowned the Junior Technology awards winners and it was Chloe, Susie and Amielie that won with their proect – A new face mask for hockey. This was the second year in a row that the girls had developed the same project with the judges being impressed with the improvements that they had made to their prodcut from last year. A huge well done also to our Press Pack, who at the last minute were in control of the PExpo Instagram uplodaing pictures, creating content videos and everything related to PExpo. We done to Rachael, Emma, Abigail and Julia for all their hard work and effort.

1U CSPE (Projects on people who campaigned for Human Rights)
